2023 Courage Is Beautiful Sponsors

In early 2023, Sisters in the Fight Breast Cancer Foundation’s Founder,  Kristin Sizemore, came across a contest on Instagram.  JJs House.com was holding a formalwear giveaway celebrating three million followers. Kristin liked, followed, and shared why she wanted to win a beautiful evening gown.  As luck would have it,  Kristin won a dress of her choice.  JJs House provided her with a custom-made red gown.  The feeling of winning the dress and awaiting its arrival was exciting.  Kristin wanted the opportunity to share that experience with other women.     Kristin contacted JJs House and asked if they would like to collaborate on a memorable event for women affected by breast cancer.  JJs House’s mission is to make every woman feel beautiful so the decision was easy.   This is where Courage is Beautiful began!    Sisters in the Fight Breast Cancer Foundation and JJs House will be gifting up to 10 women in the El Paso, Texas area a beautiful formal dress or evening gown.     

 Winners of the dress giveaway were celebrated at the Courage is Beautiful Gala on November 3 at Coronado Country Club with a dinner celebration in their honor followed by a fashion show where the survivors modeled two dresses that they selected.  One of the dresses was gifted to them by JJ's house and the remaining dresses will be donated to a local charity that provides prom attire for underprivileged high school girls.
